When you enter an Instagram username or profile link into our tool, that input is transmitted to our backend Cloudflare Worker solely for the ephemeral purpose of querying publicly accessible metadata from Instagram's public servers.
We do not record your personal identity, do not link searches to your profile, and do not track individual users across sessions.
3. No Persistent Application Database
Our application operates without a database, KV store, user account system, or persistent storage. No usernames, downloaded images, search history, or personal profiles are stored on our servers. Once the request cycle is complete, all retrieved metadata is discarded from memory.
4. Infrastructure & Standard Server Logs
Our static frontend is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and our backend operates on Cloudflare Workers. Like all internet hosting providers, Cloudflare's edge infrastructure may temporarily log standard diagnostic technical metadata (such as IP addresses, browser user agent strings, and timestamps) for security filtering, DDoS prevention, and routing. These logs are governed by Cloudflare’s privacy and security policies.
5. Local Storage
We use browser localStorage strictly to store your chosen visual theme preference (dark mode or light mode). No tracking cookies or marketing identifiers are stored in your browser by this utility.
6. Third-Party Services & Future Advertising
If advertising networks, CDN caching services, or web analytics are introduced in the future, they may employ standard web cookies or beacons in compliance with privacy regulations. As of this version, no external tracking or advertising scripts are loaded.
